The Platform is adults-only. A self-declared “I am 18” click is not treated as sufficient where law or risk requires stronger assurance.
Production must use a jurisdiction policy engine. It determines whether access is blocked, age assurance is required, what assurance level is accepted and whether a specific provider is permitted.
Privacy-by-design requirements:
- minimize identity data;
- prefer a reusable adult/eligibility assertion over retaining identity-document images;
- prohibit age-assurance data from advertising/recommendation use;
- segregate verification records;
- establish deletion/retention schedules;
- audit provider security and subprocessors;
- provide a fallback/manual route where legally appropriate.
Creators and depicted performers always require stronger identity/age verification than ordinary viewers.
